Sorry

To those who check up on me - I am sorry I have been MIA.

Between trying to get our condo ready to rent, looking for jobs and moving Husband up to Tampa, I have not had much time or energy for updating.

And of course there are other life events that I will not get into.
But I am realizing now more than ever that everyone has something to deal with.

It is so easy to look at others and think, wow they have it all or their life seems so easy. We forget that sometimes our probelms are minor, compared to what others may be going through. And as difficult as things may be sometimes, I am grateful that I am reminded that I am not the only one, nor am I alone.

Anyway, look how much cleaner our condo looks with less in it!

I am really thinking less is more...

Our New Crib

Things are moving fast for us lately, which is definitely putting me behind in other areas, but it's good. It's all good.

We headed up to Tampa over the weekend to start the moving process.

Here are some photos of what we will get to look at everyday...

The sun sets right over the mangroves here :)

This little guy was having some lunch on our palm tree

And we have magnolias

This is the trail that I will make myself run on

That's all for now!

Cock Fight

I knew that would get your attention ;) But it's true.

We rode bikes one day in Key West and we cought a real live cock fight.
Here is the proof:

These two are after that lady hen over there.
But they both can't have her at once

So they fought

Then they saw us and calmed down a bit

And went their separate ways

And then I guess she picked her man

The Keys Continued...

We ate some yummy food at:

This is cinnamon French toast with apple butter and bananas

Husband had a shrimp and cheese omelet that was beyond delicious

We also ate here and we cannot say enough good things about this place:

I only got a photo of our dessert - a banana and rum crepe!

We went swimming at Fort Zachary Taylor

We celebrated with a bottle of Dom Perignon that a friend sent Husband when he graduated :)

Fun with photography;)

I'm Back

Wow this past week has been a whirlwind for Husband and I and pretty much the whole family.

Some of you don't know this but Husband has been looking for employment for quite a while. It has been 1 year since he graduated from law school and a little less than that since he passed the Florida Bar exam.

Last week he was finally offered a job. Two jobs actually.
We have accepted a position in Tampa so.... we are moving!
This has been a long time coming and Husband really deserved a celebration....which is why we decided to go down to Key West.

I haven't updated because as soon as we returned from the Keys, we packed our bags and headed to Tampa to find a new place to live. So, now with that under our belts we can start cleaning up our condo and start looking for renters.

But don't worry my friends, I have not forgotten your shell mirrors! SeaLaura - your mirror is halfway complete!!

So with all of that said, enjoy some photos of the Keys:

This is how we celebrate ;)

Relaxation

Husband and I are headed to the Keys for some relaxation.

We'll be back for Mother's Day and we will have some fun pics for sure.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend, wherever you may be...

So here is my "Thanks" for the week:

1. I am thankful first of all to mothers. They are the best people in the world! We love our moms and can't wait to see them soon.

2. I am thankful to God. He has worked his magic in our lives once again. I will tell you more about this on Monday ;)

3. Now I want to go to the Keys so that is all for now!

Disney Recap

If you haven't guessed by now, we are slight Disney fanatics...

We feel blessed that we have been able to travel because of the sacrifices our parents have made for us.
And again, because of them, we will be able to visit Disney World as many times as we like this year. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Brittany and Teresa in a Pub in London
I don't think Brittany wants to get married any time soon ;)

Sometimes, a fight does happen....it was minor this time.
