Tampa Bay Living

I starting to settle in to my new life here in Tampa. Husband and I are finding it much more pleasant than where we used to live.

Here is a little bit of what I've been up to...

Husband found this bench yesterday for a steal! Just needs cushions.

Here is the view outside our bedroom. If I look to the right I can just barely see the water :)

I found this plate at a little shop in North Carolina. I had to have it.

Up to the loft...you all will be able to see that part of our place a little later- it's still a bit messy.

Summer in the South

Finally an update during my weeklong "downtime".
We have had such a busy summer...between moving, vacationing and trying to rent our condo, this summer is far from relaxing. But I must say, it has been fun!

Here is a little bit of our North Carolina vacation:


This was pretty funny. I wanted some pictures of the kids in the corn field and they acted like I asked them to walk into a haunted house. It took a little convincing from grandma but they finally made it in.

We took them to Dollywood and we all had a great time!

She needed her goggles for the playground...doesn't everybody?

I think I have more pictures of my niece and nephew on this blog than I do shell things. I am back for about a week before we hit up Sanibel Island for our favorite summer vacation. Time to catch up on my shell orders!

Better Late than Never

Here is a look at our Fourth of July celebration. I know it's a little late but it's the best I could do!

We had a blast and we got to see a lot of family that we don't see often. I hope everyone has a great weekend ahead of them.

And Sunday we drove back to Tampa and had lunch at a great place on the water. Overall it was an awesome weekend...
