Let It Snow!

Husband and I have been in North Carolina for the past week celebrating our 3 year anniversary.

We hoped it would snow....and on our last day, it did!
These photos were taken around 10am today.

We are on the very top of a mountain so there is no leaving today. Maybe tomorrow, hopefully Sunday. But we are Floridian's and we are LOVING IT!

It was this deep before noon today - on our car!

Talkin trash to the snowman (that behind me is a cookie sheet which I tried to sled down our driveway on. It did not work)

St. Augustine

December is the month of traveling for my family, as I am sure it is for many of you.

Every year, one of our traditional trips we take is to St. Augustine, FL. We get to see my Grandmother, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.
And we get to walk around this beautiful old city and see everything lit up with Christmas lights.

Of course I do not have photos of the Christmas lights. This is just how it goes with me.

Oh, AND there is now a Bubble Room there!! For those of you who do not know of this place - it is awesome. It is a restaurant decorated for Christmas year round. Not only is it a cool place to dine but the food is delicious too.

A Little Christmas

Christmas decorating is definitely underway at our house. I am so grateful to have more space this year for all of my Christmas things and my ideas that never seem to stop coming.

I still have more to do but here are the "beginnings"

Thanksgiving Recap

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I know I am behind with blogging but here is me trying to catch up.
Thanksgiving is crazy and busy but always fun.
Right before Thanksgiving was Husband's Birthday. Here is his cake.

It was a Heath Bar cake (his favorite candy) and was so good. VERY rich and very good.

And here is some of our Thanksgiving chaos. I don't have photos of all the food of course....I will be better at Christmas.

Sisters made pies - Bro-in-law made gravy, worked on the turkey and helped all around with everything.

Nephew and Husband worked on sweet potatoes. And B made a delicious artichoke and spinach dip :)
