How Our Christmas Went Down

Our Christmas was pure chaos, as I'm sure was a great many of yours out there! Here is a little bit of what we went through as it got closer to Christmas. I have one more post to do tomorrow so that I can show you the wonderful, awesome Christmas present that Kevin and I received from his mother. We have the best family and we do not have words to thank you all for always making our Christmas' absolutely PERFECT. I can't wait until next year!

First we went to North Carolina to see my sister, brother-in-law and neice and nephew. This is how cold it was. It actually got down to 4 degrees!! This is very cold for a Floridian. I am surprised I could take this picture.

While we were there, we celebrated Brittany and Travis' 21st Birthday's!!

We took Christmas Card Pictures

We baked cookies

We saw Santa on the Polar Express

And we saw lots of Trains in the Train Museum

Then it was back to South FL for Christmas, where I got this GREAT new bike! I am 26 years old and still asking for bikes for Christmas ;)

I tried it out, it's very nice and smooooooth.

We had a nice Christmas dinner

And mom relaxed...this is what happens when you have no working dishwasher on Christmas Day (she is going to make me remove this as soon as she sees it)

So, that's all for now. Lets all try to relax a bit more next year.

Happy Engagiversary!

One year ago today, our friends Albert and Carolyn became engaged. They are a perfect couple and will make beautiful babies one day. They will be married in April. We love you guys and we hope you will enjoy this day's wonderful memories.

Road Trip

A few weeks ago, Kevin and I went on an adventrous road trip to Orlando with our friends Albert and Carolyn. It was great! We got to ride in a Land Rover and stay in our very own Yonfa Suite. Some of the things we did include:

Taking Christmas photos at Disney resorts

Taking an old timey scary photo at a Disney Resort

Taking some nice photos at Disney Resorts - this is the Grand Floridian

Having a nice picnic which involved pickles

And roasting chestnuts on an open fire....and popcorn

Thanks for the trip guys, we loved it! I think it may have to be a tradition...

St. Augustine

Back in the beginning of the month we took a trip to St. Augustine with the family. We got to see our Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and my Grandma. We had a lot of fun as usual. And my friend Albert let me borrow his awesome camera so that I could pretend to be a photographer. Enjoy!

This is me - do I look professional?

Of course this wagon was this red.

Their faces are now stuck like this.

My mom was worried because husband was creating art in the table.

Some More Christmas Crafts/Decorations

Here are a couple of the "handmade" gifts that Kevin and I gave to our family. I still have plenty of photos to post in the upcoming days of all of our Christmas festivities and a How-To for some of these crafts. All in good time...But I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Sock Monkeys for Parker and Lillian

This is the Christmas tree for my cats...does this make me a crazy cat lady?!

Some bathroom decor

This is the Tri-Delta Nutcracker we painted for Brittany's Birthday gift

And Brittany had a Tri-Delta Christmas too - this is the wreath we made her. Actually, I will get a better photo up here because we added a lot more ornaments.

New Posts Are Coming

Today! Hi everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I know Kevin and I did. We have not stopped traveling since October it seems. So, this is why I have not posted but I know everyone has been busy with family and friends. Anyway, today I hope to get some new pics up here.....just not quite yet :)

Thanks!

I haven't posted a Thanks Post in a while so I figured I would do that today. I started out thinking I would do a post everyday on what I am thankful for, but now I am thinking weekly should do it. And since Kevin and I will be going out of town tomorrow, I shall post today!

Tomorrow we are taking a road trip with these two crazy's in the front, Carolyn and Albert. It is also Albert's Birthday tomorrow so HAPPY BIRTHDAY YONFA! This will be our first "trip" with them and I really hope that the road trip goes nothing like this picture shows...maybe we should drive. OK so here's my Thanks! for the week -
This week I am thankful for:
1. My Husband
2. Great Friends
3. My Mom - she helps me a lot!
4. Amazon.com for refunding me promptly :)
5. My Health...everyone seems to be getting sick all around me. I am praying I can make it through the season.
6. God, for many many reasons.

Gettin' Things Done

Last night, I got all of my CHRISTMAS wrapping supplies together and got into it. This may give the impresion that I am "organized" or "on top of things" but that would be false. I just had to start because I will be out of town practically every day until Christmas! So, this is how I roll while wrapping gifts:

First I get all my supplies together such as wine, boxes, scissors and tape...this year I have my grandmother's awesome vintage wallpaper that I stole from her house in Michigan. She has a lot more so I expect to steal a lot more next time I am there ;)

And then I make sure I have all my ribbons for special touches
Finally, I must have a Christmas movie going, such as Christmas Vacation, a classic.

Here are some gifts looking quite pretty all wrapped up.

Here's that Vintage paper for ya. Isn't it nice?!

Hmmm...I wonder who all of these beautiful gifts could be for?
