I haven't been able to finish some of the frames I have been working on so... I just started new ones ;)
Until I have a house big enough for my own room/area - this is where it all goes down.

I seem to find a lot of these Coquina's and I thought a little frame would be cute.

These are also everywhere in Sanibel. I have no idea what they're called.

I went to Michaels yesterday for glue sticks and I found wine bottle stoppers! I couldn't resist.

So lovely.... you have a good eye for pretty things. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, the shells that you didn't know the name of, are called Spiny Jewel Box. Before being rolled around in the sand for a long time, those rows of little bumps would have been tubular spines sticking up. We don't find many here that have spines left on them. They made a pretty frame. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie and Tootie! Such helpful information - I learn something new every day :)
