Sanibel Part III

OK folks here is the last group of photos from Sanibel. I will just have to go out and find some other interesting thing to do and blog about.

I got this dump truck for Parker at a thrift store for $1. He took it everywhere.
Tiny loved picking up all the coquinas.

I think these birds did as well.

Kima and Tiny. Don't they look alike?!

Brother and Sister found a nice hole to dig in.

Tiny showing me her find (probably asking for my expertise ;)

One morning, my sister Teresa took me to Blind Pass. I hadn't been there since they let the water back in and I knew there would be some good stuff to find. However, I had the tides all wrong so I didn't have much luck. It was beautiful though.

I did find my first Kings Crown Conch there. BUT there was a fiesty crab inside so I left him.

One of our last nights there, we all went to the lighthouse.

Mom and Brittany having fun.

The Pier at the Lighthouse.

The morning we packed up, we had a bit of ice cream left. So we let the kids go at it while we cleaned up. It was so much fun watching them eat from the container :)

Well, back to real life...

  1. It's amazing how much Kima and Tiny look alike. And it looks like the entire sky was on fire, behind the fishing pier.I'm sure that fiesty crab is thanking you for not evicting him. :)

  2. Your photos are lovely!
Just what I needed to look at before I headed out for a long day at work:):)
    Beachy love!!!!!

  3. I feel like I've just had a mini vacation with you :-) Gorgeous shots, Miss Cheryl!

  4. Parker said that's a front end loader, not a dumptruck.

  5. Ha ha of course he did. Sorry Parker, I will try to be better in the future!
