Stormy Shelling

This morning I got up bright and early to go shelling on Honeymoon Island with my boss Kelly and our friend Linda. It was rainy but that didn't stop us! We spent a few hours there and every one found something special.

Here is my bucket. They are soaking on the porch right now. I found some little guys that I will have to show you when I sort them all out.

Some of Kelly's amazing finds.

Can't wait to go again!

Talked Kelly into walking to the farthest point North....3.5 miles RT....found lots of sand dollars....she says never again... a picnic lunch and a fairer sky....might just do it....next time...it was fun "shelling with you" today...a first for everything....

  7. Thanks Laura! I'm glad you still enjoy them :)

Hey Simone - I'm so sorry you came all the way to Florida and didn't find any shells! I have to say, it really depends on the beach you go to. If you are on the East coast of FL - you won't find too much on the shore. The West coast is way better but even then you have to go to certain beaches to be certain to find the good stuff. I hope you have way better luck next time!!
