Tiny's Coquina Frame

I did get to do a project this week after all.
While we were in Sanibel on vacation, my niece picked up all of these Coquina shells - there were thousands and thousands on the beach that week.

So I thought a frame with all of her shells would be a good gift idea. Her Birthday is in a couple weeks (Parents of Tiny - don't let her see this yet!)

Anyway, this is perfect for Tiny because she is small and these shells are too.

I love her.

It is so obvious how much she is loved by you!
this precious keepsake frame is indeed one of those "gifts which go on giving"!
Each time she looks at the frame, she will remember that fun time spent with her adoring Auntie as they selected the shells which went into the frame!~~
    the frame is perfect!
    warmsandy hugs..

  2. Coquinas are such a happy little shell. What a sa - weet frame. I love the way you placed all the coquinas. The colors are just beautiful.

Believe it or not my aunt makes coquina soup. Most people just drink the broth because it is virtually impossible to get all the grit removed.

  8. Coquinas always remind me of being a little girl and watching them dig themselves back in the sand. This frame is so sweet- she'll treasure it for the rest of her life.
